Review #40: If I was on that "desert island" with a choice of just one smoke I think this would be my choice. It never fails me. THIS is a Cuban cigar!! The flavors are always there in full-force. If you want to introduce a smoker of "Domestic" stuff to the Habanos legends--this is the one to open their eyes! - Submitted by Shooter on March 2, 2006
Review #39: I'm very surprised with the reviews on this cigar. While they are well constructed, the taste is very flat and has abosuletly no complexity- compared to others in the Bolivar name. I am a fan of the Royal Corona and Belicosa but this is just an average smoke and frankly these are the cigars I give away to my friends just beginning to smoke Habanos!!! - Submitted by gary72ss on February 6, 2006
Review #38: As you spark up one of these, the flavour is there from the start. Rich bitter chocolate from the get-go, which stays with you throughout the cigar, gradually increasing in strength with the addition of a gorgeous freshly ground black pepper taste mixed with complex spices as you reach the last third. Wonderfull dark wrappers, with that silky feel you know is not going to dissapoint. Smoked it to the nub, and was sad to stub - The perfect Habano? For me hoyo in corona format still wins out, but these are hot on their heels. Don't be without some in your 'dor. Bueno - Submitted by the hanwell cigar dude on January 18, 2006
Review #37: I sampled my first Bolivar Petit Corona about ten minutes prior to writing this note. I have a dress box with a 2003 date. On sight, it was colorado claro. On nose, it was cuban in character. On the feel, it had perfect rebound. The taste was monotone, yet lively. I expected more complexity. It opened up in the final thrid. It leaves a pleasant aftertaste. I paired it with a basic red I had in the house. A better choice is a strong dark coffee with a little Irish Cream-methinks. It was enjoyable. I am glad I bought this box. - Submitted by HUC on December 23, 2005
Review #36: This has been one of my two "go-to" cigars for three years running, and I've been lucky enough to only buy them in cabs of 50...which I believe is the best way to buy any cigar, but this in particular. Without the box pressing of a dress box, these little dudes age so much faster, they have a noticable change after 6 months. The cab I'm on now is from GKI 04, and the wrappers are a gorgeous dark rosado, and the taste is without fault...as well as the construction. The cap is great, and I swear this is true...I've yet to smoke a single bad one out of at least 400. This, to me, is one of the greatest cigars, of any size, and also one of the great values as well. A true spice bomb and powerhouse, I can't tell you how many people I've given this cigar to and watched their eyes when they light it up...it's definately NOT small in taste or strength. I wish they were easier to find, though, the secret is finally really out of the bag. - Submitted by dlctwice on December 3, 2005
