Bolivar Petit Coronas Review:

Its taste is quite similar to Coronas. The characteristic strong Bolivar taste. Smokers who find Coronas Gigante too big for them, agree that this size is perfect for them, getting a very full bodied and creamy smoke. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is 4 to 6 years.

Review #145: FEB 23 UBL + ETA + TUA factories, 2021-2023 production: these babies are back in fine form! Thick leathery, classic Bolivar flavors + consistently good construction - Submitted by rascalbadmonkey on December 29, 2023

Review #144: MAY 16 Just a magnificent petit corona. These particular ones have been consistently excellent. Start mild-medium with soft, creamy woodiness, cocoa, hint of leather and honey. Builds slowly to a full bodied final third and even some very notable complexity and transitions. Developed some pepper, sweet spice and flavours like almonds, dried fruit and a brown sugar-esque sweetness and hint of saltiness. Medium finish that's woody, salty and nutty. All smoked to the fingertips without getting harsh. Still some power in the back end to indicate years more ageing potential. Who needs to spend double or triple the cost for many other cigars which are simply nowhere near as great! - Submitted by A. Dyer on May 6, 2020

Review #143: JUL 16 Smoked a light wrapper stick in a lounge that had all the bolivar characteristics such as earth, spice, caramel.....and could still taste the cigar hours afterwards! So this year I picked a box that had nice oily dark wraps, excellent construction, and a faint spicy aroma at cold, factory code ETP. Smoked one after 2 weeks in humidor, and the first third was all rosado as though I was smoking an RyJ! After that it transitioned into the typical bolivar characteristics, but I found the strength was too rough so will lay them down for another year. - Submitted by Hermit7 on October 24, 2019

Review #142: APR 16 Good liquorice notes with some leather went well with heavy red wine I was drinking (Douro if you’re interested or care) Excellent draw and well made. I would always recommend. - Submitted by AlgernonSpitts on July 11, 2019

Review #141: APR 13 4 of 25 left. I had no problems with construction, all cigars have had decent draws. Taste throughout the box has been a little inconsistent though. 1/3 of the cigars have been incredible- transitions from creamy, woody, coffee, cocoa, even a few with these beautiful floral notes. The other 2/3 of the box is 'blah', with little transition in taste; staying earthy or woody throughout.. It's never been a terrible cigar, but it keeps you hoping for that 1/3. - Submitted by jibbajabba on June 23, 2017
