Review #7: Great cigar from this underrated brand. Light-medium bodied, with a distinct caramel flavor accompanying the typical San Christobal grassy characteristics. - Submitted by The Privateer on July 28, 2004

Review #6: Smoked my first La Punta on Orient Beach last week. My kids were jet skiing, wife asleep, topless ladies nearby, I'm under an umbrella with a Heineken. Oh yeah, the cigar was exceptional, even compared to the Bolivar Royal Corona, Vegas Robaina Famosos, and Monte #2 I smoked later on the holiday. Burn a little bit uneven, blame it on the breeze? - Submitted by Heartpumper on July 28, 2004

Review #5: An absolutely fine cigar. Fantastic burn, taste and aroma. Not sure why this one isn't raved about more than it is. Solid, thick, without being tight. Very very nice indeed. I'll be getting a box of these. - Submitted by WarriorPro on April 23, 2004

Review #4: Makes me wonder why this isn't a more popular vitola. This is a big cigar without being too much. A really fine smoke with hints of burnt sugar. Strong though easily smoked I need to have time to enjoy one of these as I feel incredibly mellow when I've finished! Well worth the money. - Submitted by willisoften on April 8, 2004

Review #3: I really like this cigar, it seems to have a pretty unique flavor profile. Definitely medium bodied, and I pick up a mellow caramel-like flavor at times. Construction is good but not great, it does require some tending. Draw is good - I almost always get a good mouthful of smoke with these. I'll definitely try more San Cristobal products. - Submitted by tomhowzer on January 30, 2004
