San Cristobal de la H. La Fuerza Review:

A new format from a new brand. This cigar could be defined as a "Long Robusto" for its ring. It has medium flavour, a great aroma and takes a longer time to smoke than a Robusto. Well done guys!

Review #48: MAR 14 Quite simply glorious!!! I don't recall if this is the first one I've smoke since the last review below but wow, what a smoke!! It's been a long time since a cigar burned my fingers and I was still reluctant to put it down! Buttery soft, velvety smoke. Salted caramel throughout with a touch of almond here and there. A total dessert stick!! Now comes the dilemma, do I smoke through them or give them still more time? Either way, this was a 95/96 point cigar for me every day of the week! Absolutely wonderful!! - Submitted by Vortigan on April 28, 2021

Review #47: MAR 14 Another sample from my March '14's, just over a year on from the last. I don't really know what to make of this cigar,it's clearly an interesting and dynamic blend that held my interest for the duration so I suppose that says something. From first light the flavour was salty caramel, very salty, too salty!! The smoke is wispy and you feel like you're barely drawing on anything for a while. Then as the stick starts to warm up there was some peanut butter evident. It was a cigar that built slowly but consistently throughout, starting off on a light/medium and finishing medium/full.The salt was ever present throughout although in much lower quantities as the strength of the cigar ramped up.I wasn't confident in being able to name any other discernible flavours except just a good quality tobacco taste, which was fine by me.So in summary,an interesting and dynamic blend that kept me guessing and certainly didn't bore me. I'll be curious to see what I get the next time I reach for one. I do hope that salt calms down though, or maybe this one just an anomaly. - Submitted by Vortigan on July 8, 2017

Review #46: ---   My second La Fuerza after one and a half years waiting, following a bad first experience: it is now a very fine smoke for a great vitola, the gordito! A light tasty cigar, at the level of the El Principe, but on a 75 minutes experience. Not spetacular, but certainly very good. - Submitted by Heinrich on March 18, 2017

Review #45: MAR 14 This example was impeccably constructed and had a beautifully oily, colorado wrapper.Straight on medium bodied throughout with a very floral character in the beginning which then gives way to malty Caffé Latte disposition.Very smooth and creamy throughout. As much as I love my D4's and BBF's et al,I do really enjoy this for its sweeter, dessert profile.Another year or two should see it peak,I would expect. - Submitted by Vortigan on March 12, 2016

Review #44: Very surprised at first when I lighted it. I wasn't expecting such a strong earthy taste. But then, after a few puffs, the flavors have developped nicely and I really enjoyed it. Nicely build, very easy to smoke, I strictly don't recommend it while drinking champagne, both flavors totally don't match. - Submitted by Mobu Warpa on December 31, 2015
