- Submitted by claudiotian on July 1, 2009

Review #63: --- 00 nice somke which starts strong and then fades up to a mil-medium tobacco flavour with sweetness.it produces a lot of smoke, but every puff i take i think this cigar could have more flavour. it tastes like a RyJ with less taste. Compared to Ryj Exh no3 the RyJ is far superior, more complex. - Submitted by Yilmaz on May 17, 2009

Review #62: MAR 03 Outstanding cigar.Cab six years old. Superb smoke.Medium in strenght, balanced aroma, good construction.Best from SLR I have had. - Submitted by kml on May 4, 2009

Review #61: FEB 03 This Saint Luis Rey Serie A was from a cabinet box with six years of box age. No bands. It was kept at a humidity of 65%. The feel in hand was light in weight. The wrapper was dry, and upon cutting-the wrapper slightly cracked around the head. The draw was easy, but with good resistance. The most pronounced flavor was spicy pepper; this is a sharp contrast from prior sticks from this box of 50. Age and keep have amplified this cigars profile. The first third was a fast climb in strength, as it took control of my palette. At mid-third, it settled in amplification of spice; I thought I had a good handle at this point. The last third brought about another increase in spice. This cigar became a powerhouse; it was a good thing that I was sitting down, as I would have fallen down. WOW! This cigar was a blast of spice. An aged Saint Luis Rey Serie A commands respect from even the most experienced smoker. A novice would run from this vitola. A powerful and spicy bomb of a cigar. Beware, this cigar is a tour de force of spice, when aged. Only experienced aficionados need apply. 9 of 10 overall. - Submitted by HUC on April 22, 2009

Review #60: JUN 02 I would have to agree with Watson. My favorite daily smokes tend to be Corona Gordas, and these take the cake. Last month I was fortunate enough to get a box that came to me via Coprova (French Tobacco Monopoly) I needed (not kidding) a screwdriver to get the lid open, and when I did, Wow!!! Surprisingly light, but wrappers of equal color. After about 2 weeks in the humidor they have already darkened about 5 to 10 percent. Ive never seen this happen to a cigar before. The taste is wonderful, yet acquired, as these are considered vintage at 7 years plus. Im thinking about purchasing a reasonable, desktop humidor to stock with just SLR A's. - Submitted by snapsix on March 15, 2009
