Review #72: JUN 05 On the mild side , great looking sticks.Nice even burn , some sweet toasty notes throughout entire cigar. Not much depth but enjoyable especially after breakfast.Too light for the evening .Excellent for beginners , experienced smokers should at least try them. Nice change of pace. - Submitted by marius on November 28, 2009

Review #71: MAY 08 Balanced is the best description. Proof that a cigar need not ever exceed medium body to deliver a full flavor profile. Sinatra could have had any cigar, and it is said these were his favorite. I now know why. - Submitted by peteando on October 27, 2009

Review #70: JUN 05 Just smoked the first of a box from June 2005. Box pressed and slightly rustic in appearance. Beautiful smoke, perfect draw, typical cuban twang for first third, developing into a smooth, creamy smoke with hints of baking spices. Didn't become harsh even at the band. Slight tunneling in the cigar but easily corrected and this didn't ruin the experience. Pleased with this purchase at a very reasonable price. - Submitted by swan25 on September 25, 2009

Review #69: SEP 08 Just cracked a dress box and was greeted with a heavy barnyard aromas and the most beautiful shade of colorado claro wrappers that I've ever seen. The construction and physical properties were flawless. Initially present were strong flavors of very young, high-quality tobacco. After the first third, these intense flavors gave way to spice, leather, and a lingering honey sweetness that is the hallmark of this marca. As I removed the band and proceeded to burn my fingertips, the powerful tobacco flavors returned in force and swept me away in reverie. It was a zen-like experience in which I felt at one with the Vuelta Abajo if only for a few brief moments. - Submitted by jfury76 on June 15, 2009

Review #68: JAN 07 Very interesting at 18 month's old. Kind of spiced apple tones to it. One year on and nothing has been added and if anything has lost some of the initial flavour. Curious grittiness on the tongue that I've not experienced before. Firm ash - had one stick burning all the way down without dropping it once! The best hermoso #4, as these pages suggest, is how they started but now I'm not so sure. Just not complex enough for my taste. - Submitted by john_larwood on June 9, 2009
