Review #12: Great Contruction and good flavor. This box is FDO JUN 03. Very pleasanly suprised by this hermoso. I bought them because of the price but would definitely order them again. The burn is great, the draw terrific, just a bit more strenght would have warranted a five star rating. - Submitted by mrniceguy on July 12, 2005

Review #11: This is a fantastic cigar. Like a full flavoured, well salted meal. Not floral like an Epicure 2, not black tobacco like a partagas robusto. But the flavour! It\'s as strong a flavour as a large Bolivar! just a little more tamed. - Submitted by peanutaxis on April 2, 2005

Review #10: What an example of Cuban quality and perfection. All from 10 boxes of 25 from APE ABR 02. When i first purchased these a year ago i knew they were classics. the first ones i smoked were very, very, dark and oily wrappers. once lit you can actually see the oils running from the hot ash on the foot. The construction is top-notch. Packed as tight as a brick with no problems with the draw whatso ever. The decedent aromas of strong well aged tobacco are what first hit your senses. then the espresso and strong coffee bean flavors hit you from every where, they seem to increase the more puffs you take. After the bombardment of coffee and espresso begins, then comes the very, deep dark decadent and intoxicating flavors and aromas of swiss chocolate that seems almost liquid at first, then the honey and walnuts are a fresh suprise. The heady and decadent flavors and aromas are right down to the nub. If you can find these from this production run buy all you can, i am still searching for more from this run. - Submitted by bigyesta on March 9, 2005

Review #9: This is my favourite havana...indeed cigar in the world. It is, for me, what havanas are all about and suits my tate perfectly. it's full flavoured and rich, but doesn't give you a nicotine kicking if you smoke it after lunch/earlier in the day. It is also, for me, the perfect late night smoke, it goes best after an evening meal with a nightcap, cognac or some sherry. It's spicey and has that wonderful dusty earth flavour mixed with gingerbread and cinnamon. Aesthetically gorgeous also, not a perfectly smooth and regimented wrapper, it's velvetty with a deep reddish brown hue and with the odd thich, "toothed" vein in it. Looks great, burns superbly with a perfect draw. You can tell I love them :). - Submitted by A. Dyer on December 16, 2004

Review #8: All the classic cuban flavors are here, chocolate, espresso, cocoa, vanilla. However the wrapper colors varied from the first layer in the box to the second layer, the first was dark the seccond just a shade lighter, the taste was identicle. - Submitted by yestagrande on November 24, 2004
