Review #6: I recently smoked one of these from a '97 cabinet. Very, very nice. The first half is supersmooth, the second half was just smooth (not super). It's taste was spicy, maybe a little cocoa and definitely liquorice. The burn was perfect, but the ash fell of two times. It was a typical SLR, a brand which I start to like more and more! - Submitted by Bolivar on November 12, 2005

Review #5: its a very good cigar.Easy to smoke.Delicious. - Submitted by taspav on August 8, 2005

Review #4: Well I just smoked one from a cabinet box dated '01. Absolutely delicious. Un-lit it was one of the most potent and nice smelling cigars I have ever had. Lit it exceeded expectations. Burn was very un-even but did not cause much problem and it did nothing but develop its complex flavours all the way to the nub. Cool, creamy and not too spicy. Flavours began very floral, woody; into the second third it became more fuller in flavour and slowly started developing a cocoa flavour, but keeping all the others, hints of licorice, nuts and stayed creamy with a little more spice developing in the final third. One of my favourites now, but maybe you need to find a good year, and cabinet selection will promise less tight drawers. - Submitted by A. Dyer on February 1, 2005

Review #3: Very inconsistent quality as his brother SLR Corona. May be full of aroma with even drawing...but may also be fade with some drawing problems. Should forget any stories about limited production and stable quality (tested 3 boxes and do not intend to continue). - Submitted by parzog on May 9, 2004

Review #2: I had this one on Oct. 13th. It was a medieum cigar smoke. Not bad but not my liking. It was better than the RyJ Churchill, though. - Submitted by chilli on October 16, 2003
