Review #11: I was lucky enough to get an 03' cab of these now discontinued ( in 50 cabs ) smokes .Amazingly, my first 3 from this cab have had perfect burn and draw .Upon close inspection it appears that the rest have superior construction as well . As a result the flavors and enjoyment from these is very good and should get better with age .Many say 03' is a good year for SLRs in general and I must agree that these are a MUST if you enjoy this Marca . A more floral version of the series A with some of the wood and tobacco tones from the Hoyo Des Dieux .Only the Bolivar lonsdales I've sampled were superior to this batch of Cervantes . - Submitted by wahoo33 on April 12, 2007

Review #10: I smoked one of this cigar from a box dated 1988. The ageing has done a great job on this cigar. It started with floral and cream, coffee and chocolate in the mid section, and finally finish off with light leather. A wonderful cigar for ageing. The interesting aspect of this cigar is the wrapper. The wrapper is rolled like we rolled the hand grip of our tennis racket instead of the normal way of rolling newer cigar such as the series A. - Submitted by pak on April 9, 2007

Review #9: I purchased one of these with great anticipation in Nurnberg, Germany. It was from a box vintage 2000. The wrapper was smooth, if looking a little rugged. I was excited, but I think I had some bad luck. Because, it was as if I had walked in on a beautiful women in the middle of dressing when she isn't ready to be seen. Or opening a birthday present the day before your birthday and knowing you did something wrong. What I mean is this has all the potential, but even at year 2000, at least from the box I was smoking it wasn't ready. The smoke was rough, (compared to a Partagas lonsdale I smoked immediately after, from 2000 as well)and the flavors were bunched together like it thought it was still fresh from the field. But this cigar has potential. It is rustic and unique, and I could still taste what will come. Something nutty, volcanic and sweet. It just wasn't there yet. - Submitted by Jimbo on March 12, 2007

Review #8: I was lucky enough to get a good amount of these from 92. Wonderful, full bodied cigars with good earthy flavor, nice construction & consistantly even burn. A winner - Submitted by Bassman on December 16, 2006

Review #7: i was in cuba last week and pick up a box from 2000, and tried one from the same year that was one display, wow, didn't want to put it down. just a great cigar and with some age, it just gets better - Submitted by MR_MINIWHEAT on November 22, 2006
