Review #6: I have always enjoyed the mild and approachable flavours of R&J - I find their style most suitable for my palate and I count the exhi 4s, Churchills and coronas amongst my favourite "go-to" smokes. How surprising then to light one of these little rockets the other evening at Baranows in Melb and find that I had just started 30 minutes of a 'spice extravaganza". In the box these had a gorgeous layer of bloom - testament to good ageing in perfect conditions. Once lit, the first few tokes gave evidence of what tasted like a LOT of ligero; rich, strong & spicy; quite partagas-like in style and strength. Even burn, great draw and didn't get too hot but I was reaching for the muscat quite often to quench the "twang". Nice, but more suitable for a short, rough and tumble interlude rather than a quiet evening of contemplation... - Submitted by Uncle on February 26, 2007

Review #5: Purchased five of these for a trip to Venice, attracted by hearing some good things about them and their low price. I was sceptical at first, however the first I smoked was marred by a below par coffee I was having at the same time. The flavour grew on me and I enjoyed the rest greatly. An easy draw, but slightly tighter than I had expected, but not in a bad way. Burn was even on all of them and I had no need to relight at any point. A lot of dense smoke for its size too. It came into its own with a single malt, maintaining a generally smooth and light earthy, leathery flavour. In the last 3rd the spice really came out, but there was no problem with it getting too hot and I smoked them all down to the fingernails! In conclusion, an excellent cigar for a quick herf. It could be a little more exciting on the flavour front, but a perfectly enjoyable smoke. - Submitted by tomhendriks on November 3, 2006

Review #4: This is probably the best quick -waiting for a train- cigar I have found. Especially at the price availible in the UK. I found it an easy draw, even burn and pleasantly for a small cigar, nicely composed and wrapped. All-round, good value. Buy some! - Submitted by Jack Noble on May 8, 2006

Review #3: What a pleasant surprise. I had some "change" in my pocket when passing through Zurich airport and bought these fine, cheap cigars. Originally I thought I would give them to my wife and let her enjoy them with her lady friends. How wrong I was. This is a finely crafted cigar, that burns smoothly, evenly and starts with strong leather flavors. Doesnt get hot easily, just make sure you dont puff a lot. Tastewise it gives leather, strong spice and this characteristic, exquisite RomeoYJulieta taste. Until recently I had the Cohiba Exquisitos for a quick, fast cigar. This beauty has replaced senior Seoanes..! Excellent! - Submitted by Dimitris in Athens - Greece on February 26, 2006

Review #2: it is a good cigar, smoke one now - Submitted by The KID on November 22, 2004
