Ramon Allones Gigantes Review:

The predominant notes of this cigar are floral, nutty and herbal flavours greatly balanced. As it is considered to be quite mild, it can be perfect for a novice, which is not usual for a "Robusto". Perfect draw and even burn.

Review #78: SEP 18 I've never had a bad one of these. I've come across a few boxes here and there in my local B&M which seemed tightly rolled, but I just found better examples. Rich, balanced, elegant, complex and usually perfect construction. Creamy coffee, woods, hay, dried fruits, chocolate, cinnamon, dark honey and a hint of leather and Cuban earth. Strts at the softer end of medium bodied and builds to upper end of medium, touching on full in the last couple of inches. The flavours progress and give a little journey for the length too which is just perfect. My favourite double corona, and often I've smoked these and forgotten what a huge cigar it was, as I just enjoy it so much. They smoke a little quicker when aged well too, without getting hot or bitter at all. Really superb cigars. Looks like some reviewers here have got duds IMO, or just poor examples that were left too long and lost potency. Look for rich and oily chocolate wrappers and good construction and you won't be disappointed at all. - Submitted by A. Dyer on January 24, 2021

Review #77: JUL 14 Aged properly, this cigar will reward you handsomely. Stewed fruits wrapped in chocolate with leathery texture. This vintage has legs and need a bit more time to reach its potential. - Submitted by Cubano-1 on August 29, 2017

Review #76: AUG 14 Stewed fruit, light leather, cream, and milk chocolate. Great DC that isn't as strong as a Lusi but leads you down a journey of flavors that is easy on your palate. Take your time with this and don't overheat it and it will reward you. May well best the second best DC in the lineup. - Submitted by davess08 on August 16, 2015

Review #75: FEB 14 Got a box from feb14... Not enough flavor to make this cigar .notes of short beard , slight leathery texture . Smooth on the palate but too boring . Will revisit in 3 years - Submitted by Aznguy22 on June 6, 2015

Review #74: FEB 08 Beautiful construction, but not enough flavor to make such a big cigar interesting. - Submitted by Bassman on May 23, 2013
