Review #93: OCT 07 BLP07. Just got back from Cuba. I got a box of these (1/2 boxed left at the Partagas factory that day) and am unsure if I got the regular PP or Black prince. Mine do not have the cellophane as pictured here so im thinking they are Black prince. Does anyone known if the box code (BLP) is an acronym for black prince. Im very excited to try this cigar as it is very well constructed, I will give an update once I try this one,but in the mean time, can anyone help me out on this one? - Submitted by Hrvat on April 15, 2009

Review #92: This is the worst cigar I ever had so far. Taste of too much of Floral. I felt like I'm spraying my Calvin Klein perfume in my mouth. Can't even reach to 2/3 and I felt like wanna puke. After comparing this gorda and Juan Lopez S1. This punch gorda has no where to stand. A very let down and very disappointing taste. Κλασική κούβα με φανατικούς φίλους και πολυάριθμους επικριτές. Άψογο (σχεδόν πάντα) κατασκευαστικά, με μια αψάδα στην αρχή που κάθεται γρήγορα και αφήνει να φανεί η καθαρά γήινη υπόσταση του, με ήπιες οσμές από χώμα και γρασίδι και μια γλυκιά - μελώδη επίγευση. Αυτό το πούρο δεν έχει ένα ρεφρέν, κάτι που να το σφραγίζει αρωματικά και γευστικά, αντίθετα στην πορεία εμφανίζει μια πανσπερμία από εναλλασσόμενες, σχεδόν αδιόρατες μικρές δόσεις γεύσεων που ποικίλλουν από τον καφέ και το δέρμα, μέχρι τους ξηρούς καρπούς και τη σοκολάτα, αλλά είναι ανεπαίσθητες και δυσδιάκριτες, τόσο πού χάνονται μέσα στην έντονη και καθαρή ξυλώδη υφή που κυριαρχεί μετά τη μέση της διαδρομής. Κάπου εκεί νομίζω χάνεται και η μπάλα, και οι επικριτές του βρίσκουν έδαφος να το κατηγοριοποιήσουν σαν πούρο «χωρίς χαρακτήρα». Σίγουρα υπολείπεται αρκετά του θεϊκού και ομοαίματου Royal Selection 11, εγώ το βρήκα συμπαθητικό και ευχάριστο, αλλά αν έπαιζα χαρτιά, θα ‘λεγα «ντούκου». - Submitted by cipu on April 3, 2009

AUG 07 I tried one of these when I was vacationing in Mexico a few years ago. It was tightly rolled and was foul. I couldnt get any decent smoke from it and it burned very uneven. I hated this cigar...taste like grass. I just could not finish a quarter of it. Never will I try this again...nor will I go with Punch cigar again. Maybe it was my stick...however Punch cigars always disappoint me, guess they are not my taste. - Submitted by hexakosioi on February 27, 2009
