JUN 14 Many years ago I used to enjoy these fairly regularly - think I must have had a couple of not so good boxes and didn't bother again for the last 10 years... have considered getting some to try again but reviews have kept me away. Finally stepped up and ordered box that arrived this week. Only 6 months old and was slightly concerned until I opened the box and WOW a beautiful sight! Absolutely splendid rich colour, fine oily wrapper and excellent construction throughout. And now having smoked a couple only fair description is SUBLIME - from start to finish perfect in every way. Draw, burn ash +++. Flavour complex sweet, creamy, cedar - smooth and ever evolving. JUL 09 Punch Punch-ERO-JUL-09. Rather one dimensional at first. The cigars are mild with an initial and predominantly woody/cedar flavor. After the middle there are some sweeter nuances of milk coffee and honey. Quickly the cigar loses the sweet element and becomes leathery. This is also where the typical Cuban earthiness appears.
