Tried one the last week, aplendid draw. Slightly uneven burning character, but smooth and leathery as expected. Hence I am generally leaning towards the Partagas brand, I must admit though, that I still prefer the mythical Serie D No4. I agree on not being cheap for the size, anyway, it deepened my fascination for the Partagases. Not an everyday quick smoke, this thing should be thought over and savoured up to its crucial point dependindg on a smoker's nicotine tolerance and smoking habbits. I did it almost up to the ring and am not sorry for it. Excellent finish! Though the flame had been drawn inside of the puro and some of the wrapper was left intact all along. This cigar cost me £13.50 from a cigar merchant in London. I wanted to try a Partagas short for the first time. I was shown a PSD5 LE 2008 which caught my eye; I liked the maduro colour and I decided to buy one of the few still remaining in the box. Back home, I settled down to my end of the week cigar. At first I was a bit worried about the the wrapper which seemed a little dry. I didn't need to worry for long as the cigar began to feel moist as started on it. When I lit up, I got an intense pepper hit in my head which was fantastic, and there was a nice strong feeling to the back of my mouth. However, it only lasted for a few moments. This little cigar seemed to mellow out and the next thing thing I knew it was all over. It was an expensive smoke, and I felt a little let down by this small cigar. However, maybe from time to time the shorter experience is just as valid as the longer cigar journeys that I sometimes crave. - Submitted by rafael on November 22, 2008

JUN 08 Πολύ καλό πούρο, αλλά δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω τη φιλοσοφία της δημιουργίας του και μάλλιστα σαν LE. Εντάξει, τελευταία είναι της "μόδας" αυτά τα format, αλλά... Το πούρο είναι εξαιρετικά φτιαγμένο, με σκούρο λαδερό wrapper, διαφορετικό από το PSD4, γευστικά πιό γεμάτο και δυνατό. Το μειονέκτημα είναι ότι μόλις αρχίζεις και το απολαμβάνεις και "βρίσκεις" το χαρακτήρα του, τελειώνει και μένεις μισο-ικανοποιημένος. Ίσως η Partagas το στέλνει στην αγορά σαν οδηγό, για να το κυκλοφορήσει αργότερα σαν "κανονικό". Όπως και να'ναι, πρόκειται γαι ένα ποιοτικό πούρο, που δεν εντυπωσιάζει, ίσως γιατί περίμενες περισσότερα... - Submitted by cipu on November 18, 2008
