Ναι, έβαλα χέρι και σ’ αυτό, (το τελευταίο από την προ-τελευταία κούτα που μου έμεινε). Η ομορφιά έχει γίνει πια προχωρημένο maduro, μέχρι και το Edicion Limitada παλαίωσε και έχει ξεθωριάσει. Τι να πω, δυσκολεύομαι…τι να πρωτογράψω γι αυτόν τον μύθο. Τα πάντα όλα δικέ μου είναι εδώ. Τι λάδια, τι κέδρα, κανέλλες, μπαχάρια και πιπέρια, φουντούκια, σοκολάτες, δέρματα και βανίλιες. Μόνο ήχους δεν βγάζει αυτό το πούρο. Ένα αριστούργημα - και μακάριοι όσοι το κάπνισαν ή πρόκειται να το καπνίσουν. Ίσως η μεγαλύτερη καπνιστική δημιουργία που φτιάχτηκε ποτέ και θα μείνει για πάντα σημείο αναφοράς. Μια σκάλα για τον ουρανό, που όποιος την ανεβεί, βλέπει μετά όλα τα άλλα, ακόμα και τα πολύ καλά, με συγκατάβαση. Η κορυφή μωρό μου, ένα θεϊκό αποτύπωμα. Καπνίστε το και θα δείτε τι σημαίνουν έννοιες όπως ωρίμανση, πολυπλοκότητα, πρώτα, δεύτερα τρίτα και τα άλλα ωραία, που όλοι χρησιμοποιούμε - κάποιες φορές καθ’ υπερβολήν - για να τονίσουμε, να εκθειάσουμε τις αρετές ενός καλού πούρου. Εύχομαι να βρω τη δύναμη και να μην παρασυρθώ ξανά, πρέπει να λησμονήσω και να ξεχάσω, να αργήσω πολύ να ανοίξω εκείνη την τελευταία κούτα. JUN 01 I can't help but wonder how many of these reviews are actually based on the 'fake' version of these cigars. While the official version of the Partagas Piramide is certainly an ok cigar it simply doesn't even begin to compare the the 'unofficial, or fake' version that made the rounds on a massive scale. A very large number of these reviews are almost certainly based on those that came from a certain vendor in Spain. My score of 10 is for the fake ones which again were are awesome indeed. - Submitted by WarriorPro on October 1, 2008

--- 00 I'd like to complete my previous review. I grabbed a spongier one and smoked it with a glass of Glenmorangie La Santa. Better draw, white firm ash. Very much like a Lusitania. A man's smoke, like a slice sirloin steak is a man's steak. Earthy, peaty concentrated flavors -- Starbucks-style coffee bean. flavors. Dark, oily wrapper. Triple-cap figurado. Just smoked one tonight. Rolled way too tight. Almost got a hernia. Thhe few good draws I got reminded me of the old Lusitanias flavor -- gritty, old style, peaty. Tons of review on this cigar, and 100% good. All I can say is I agree. only have 10 of this left in my collection and makes me more and more reluctant to pull one out. Well balanced in terms of body and flavor. Long finish. satisfying. Choc and coffee dominates.
