Review #70: Excellent cigar. I just recently moved to Europe last month and am finally able to try some cuban cigars. I had tried a couple Romeo Y Julieta and they were very good. A couple cohiba and they were nice but when I tried this Montecristo #2 I was blown away. It is a true experience and I plan to buy a box of them. I currently pay 5.70 Euros ($7) a piece and they are worth every penny. - Submitted by Shawn Selway on February 11, 2005

Review #69: I would have to agree with both reviews No.'s 67 & 68. Purchased a box from their 2004 release. Was extremely disappointed on my first try, my expectations were too high. However, I sincerely hope and trust that time in my humidor will improve the supposed "king" of cubans. I have read other reviews on this same cigar that indicated a lack of consistency in their production (according to cigar afficionado, approx. 1,000,000 produced last year). My score reflects a bland first try of the 04 box. - Submitted by cigarlover on February 8, 2005

Review #68: Oh gawddamn. Someone writes a review and expects a 2004 box to compete with something from the NINETEEN SEVENTIES. Okay well I have some Led Zeppelin from their reunion tour 2004 and it sucks compared to Led Zeppelin 2 released in 1972. What a gyp. Yeah the cigars made 6 months ago need some age. Newsflash. I came into a box dated Sep 04 and while they do have a hint of ammonia at the end of the line, the tobacco itself vibrates with twangy goodness. Construction is flawless and the feel is firm in your hand. Couldn't be happier. I'll control myself and let this box age for a year at which time I expect a real treat. - Submitted by spr on February 2, 2005

Review #67: This is probably the most overated cuban cigar around. Anything that does not have at least 3 years of aging is a waste of time. The cubans have a real seller here and weather they are ready to smoke or not they are releasing these too early.I had purchased 3 of these from an 04 production run and they are terrible, the amonia flavors are a tell tell sign of imature young tobacco. The construction was flawless, the wrapper was dark chocolate, however the flavor left a lot to be disired. My father has several boxes of the from the late 1970"s and they are real classics, strong well aged tobaccos are the mainstay, add to that espresso and chocolate, and vanilla and you have a real classic. AS THE SAYING GOES THESE CIGARS FROM 04 PRODUCTION SHOULD CARRY A NOTE BUYER BEWARE. - Submitted by bigyesta on January 31, 2005

Review #66: A true cigar. Experianced cigar smokers will appriciate the full taste and the aromas. Rookies will go crazy on it. - Submitted by Costas Leonidou on January 24, 2005
