Review #135: It has been almost a year since I had my last MC#2. I lmost forgot how it was. Since then I've smoking mainly Cohibas, but now thay I came back to my origins I must state that this is the best smoke I can have, specialy the first third- which in the longer vitolas have less power - in this cigar is truly amazing. I was reading a briefing while smoking, but I had to stop - there is no change of paying attention to the reading while savouring the cigar. To reviewer #130:NO WAY the comparison to the Bolivar BF which I've found dull on most occasions - Submitted by pvieira on January 24, 2007

Review #134: This cigar lacks consistency in all of the young boxes. But you'll find in almost all the factory codes available great potential once aged. I have never had a bad No.2 with at least a year of maturity on the box. I have had these in all forms including the box of 25 and 10. But the best of them all come in the 5 pack carton form. The carton form usually is offered as better deal. Check out Review #118 for my best experience which was from FIM OCT 05 box of 25. - Submitted by semery74 on January 12, 2007

Review #133: Smoked three of them. Some good, some bad. The bad one's were short of smoke and constrution. The good one's just excellent. So the scoring will be from 3 to 4 1/2 stars. Inconsistent.... - Submitted by Jeroen van der Pluijm on December 16, 2006

Review #132: This cigar has always fallen into the "good but not great" catagory for me- until now. A FEB 06 box has been a revelation. Has the blend changed. This Monte #2 is stronger, richer & earthier tasting than any previous version I've had. Incredibly complex for such a young cigar. It doesn't matter how they will age, because they won't last long! - Submitted by Bassman on December 16, 2006

Review #131: LLN SEP04 right out of the box after 7 day journey (thank you Jackie). One of the smoothest, most well rolled and constructed cigars that I have ever had (next to maybe the aged Davidoff Anniversario No 1). Dark oily wrappers. 2 hours of enjoyment. The flavor profile was on the mild/medium side and did not really change at all thoroughout the smoke (with change of flavors, being and attribute that I most appreciate in my cigars) but that may be due to 7 days of travel at less than optimal temperatures. There is only one step up to go in my mind so if it reaches a 10 down the road I will write again. These can only become more flavorful and refined as they settle and age- One of the finest looking boxes I have ever seen. LLN, Jose Marti has some talented people! - Submitted by Dr. Wu on December 8, 2006
