Review #150: Just smoked my 1st cuban and it was the Monty no 2. The burn wasn't all i expected it to be but the flavor was heavenly. I smoked it to a nub just to get a full sample from start to finish and it never ever thought about getting bitter. This cigar just came out of the box so I can't wait to try them after 6 mos + in the Humi. Has anyone else had an awkward burn form this stick? - Submitted by ejmuir on April 11, 2007

Review #149: Mauris and all, i am not a big Monte fan, just never have. This particular cigar is different in a way that is hard to describe. All I know to say is that it is about the taste and a properly aged Monte #2 tastes pretty damn good! That is why I smoke cigars, the taste. - Submitted by Rich Golodner on April 8, 2007

Review #148: well i like them, draw is excellent so far, burn is almost perfect but tastewise nothing special.i went throught 5 of of 3X10 that i bought.all 3 boxes are aug 06 so very very young.to be honest i think this cigar needs to be reviewed after a year in a humi and i will definately do it.they are very nice looking and prelight smell is heavenly, there was no construction problems at all, they all burned excellent with nice straight ash, taste is kind of boring but there is a feeling of high potential.they might be extraordinary in few more months.they need patient owners, let them rest - Submitted by marius on March 27, 2007

Review #147: This is the "camry" of cigars: the top seller, but lacking in refinement yet Good for the average joe. If you graduate, however, this mass-produced commodity pales in comparison to even the H. Upmann #2. But, most people never get past them, which is a shame. A good cigar like the Camry is a good car (for the masses). - Submitted by peprdo on March 26, 2007

Review #146: I do enjoy smoking the No. 2 but it isn't the king of cigars. I'm sorry. But I will agree that this is a good cigar. ...just not the best. I've smoked many No. 2's, and the most recent one I couldn't finish. So I cut it and relit the cigar a few days later. There was no sacrifice to the flavour. It continued on with it's trademark flavours. The only downside to this cigar, in my opinion, is that the flavours aren't as complex and bold as other Habanos. Top marks however. - Submitted by cookj1 on March 15, 2007
