Review #170: WIll not buy thses anymore. The last 15 have been flavorless. You have to be lucky to get a good one. If you get one thats on, youll ber in heaven - Submitted by habanohal on October 11, 2007

Review #169: The no 2 I find is quite hot and spicy for the first 10 minutes, but when it gets to cruising temperature, is when its true flavours show. The 2/3 of this cigar is amazing, showing mocha and roasted coffee, with a soft creamy mouthfeel, and is a absolute pleasure to smoke. I am quite dissapointed with the last 1/3 of this cigar, but a beautiful smoke none the less. The last 1/3 smokes too hot and I find is quite peppery and spicy. - Submitted by Michael_85 on September 20, 2007

Review #168: I smoked this cigar just now. The appearance of the cigar is solid, it was well constructed too. It took some effort to lit it due to its size. Many accuse this cigar to be a hard draw and it is true you will get less volume of smoke of what you are used to with average effort, however it doesnt matter, because despite the small volume of smoke you get the full taste. In fact it tastes better if you dont battle it. If beeing served a smaller than average volume of smoke doesnt feel odd to you this will be a mild pleasant creamy (vanilla ?) tasting smoke that will last for a good 90 min. There are cigars with a more intense flavour but only because pizza has an intense taste you dont say no to fish. - Submitted by Cassius on August 24, 2007

Review #167: Two years ago I bought a box of Montecristo no.4's - 5 of these cigars were plugged and I have largely steered clear of this brand since then. However, the reputation of the no.2 demanded that I pick one up when I was last re-stocking the humidor. The first half of this cigar was vapid - there was just a touch of coffee and cream. The cigar wasn't plugged but the draw was a little tight. This review was set to be a string of bile until I found some guts in the cigar halfway through. The coffee and cream intensified but there was no real pay off. Montecristo and me seem to have construction problems and I don't think the Monte flavour profile is up my alley. - Submitted by CastroGTX on August 21, 2007

(Cohiba Esplendidos = 91). Occasionnellement, c'est un bon choix. - Submitted by Guillaume on June 13, 2007
