Review #127: JUN 05 I bought a box of 25, from a 2005 box. When I opened the box the cigars had nice white plumes on them. They have been resting in the humi for about 6 months now. The tatste is just amazing! lots of chocolate and nuts! hints of coffee and slight taste of leather. That's my favourite cigar for a sunday arvo with a nice single malt. Of course PD4 is up there as well ... but each has their own special place :) - Submitted by maalouly on November 5, 2008

Review #126: this cigar is good but not brilliant. the flavour was very one dimensional with a distinct monte sweet grassy taste. it has a more subtle taste than the monte tubos (not as strong). it has great aroma and construction but taste is not the most complex. leaves a lovely cocoa aftertaste in the mouth. - Submitted by jaz on October 30, 2008

Review #125: OCT 05 I did not like these at all upon their initial release, but as I am a collector, I saw no harm in forgetting that I had them for 2 years. I had one last night with a double Maker's mark on the rocks while out with a friend at Bhan Thai. Absolutely perfect in every way, draw, razor sharp burn and a cool minty twang that I had been waiting years for. Not as strong, or as Monte in style as the last one I had since their 'resurrection', but soft and sweet and tangy and twangy. I knew that if I had enough patience, I would be rewarded and I was. based on two 2 year old samples, I can give these an 8 out of ten, the previous one from last month was the cigar that pulled up the average, last nights was only about a 7, but a great 7 to be sure. - Submitted by OLS on September 19, 2008

Review #124: New favourite cigar, consistantly awesome, a great vitola. - Submitted by Ollie on July 15, 2008

Review #123: I've smoked one ot these truly good-looking cigars yesterday. The proportion of this Habano are almost perfect; I love the thick gauge and the 52-gauge in particular. Construction was perfect, the draw was excellent, no effort to get plenty of smoke from this generous friend. The taste of this cigar was very well balanced, no arshness even at the nub. Wood, fine tobacco, leather, a bit of nuttiness, all mixed in a round taste masterpiece. It took me an hour to smoke this one, a time that I've enjoied so much. The strengh of this Habano was never overhelming, nonetheless it was really tasty from the very beginning till the end. This fing I really appreciate, because many long cigars lack to develop their taste in the first third, while this Habano has the perfect length to enjoy it from the foot. The burning was perfect throughout. For the price, that is only a little higher than a Cohiba Exquisitos, this Habano is well worth the money. Glad to have tried this cigar, I will buy many more. - Submitted by Edmundo on May 31, 2008
