Review #17: I smoked one of these cigars from an April 2003 Box, which has been nicely kept in a walk-in humidor at the perfect temperature and humidity. Pretty decent construction and even burn. Mild flavour with sweet notes. Same intensity of flavour all through out the smoke. Recommended cigar for beginners or those who prefer the mild choice. - Submitted by juanka on March 12, 2008

Review #16: Now Habanos is making these as short-filler hand made cigars. I have tried some of this (both MM and HM)and the biggest issue is the construction, which is unconsistent (had one plugged all the way, others with poor draw). That said, I still like this cigar because of the La Flor del Cano blend, which is unique among other cuban brands. It is very sweet, smooth and with an aroma that even my wife that hates cigars enjoyed. If the construction is alright the cigar is an excellent value for those who want to try different experiences than the more usual top quality brands. - Submitted by titobueno76 on December 19, 2007

Review #15: I must say, I find the attitude of many here distasteful: mild cigars, or cigars that perhaps don't exhibit the complexity of more expensive cigar, aren't necessarily for beginners only. They suit beginners admirably, but I think they can be enjoyed by any level of smoker. This is a cigar to be smoked and enjoyed, not overanalysed; what else do you expect, given the price? This cigar exhibited nice, sweet floral flavours from the start to the nub. Not complex, sure, but an agreeable to spend an hour or so just relaxing. Yes, if you hold this up to the standard of a Cohiba or Montecristo, it will fall short. Nonetheless, it's a good cigar, and well worth the price. Beginners to experienced smokers, this is, simply put, a good smoke. - Submitted by agraupe on August 16, 2007

Review #14: Mild. A cigar for beginners. You should move from these cigars to the Bolivars and cohibas and not the other way round. Just bought a box dated 03. Thought they were worth the trouble since the box has some age in it. Draw was easy but there was hardly any smoke from it thereby no taste. If you are used to the strong ones, leave this one alone. - Submitted by teledog on August 13, 2007

Review #13: As most of the reviews on this one are a couple of years old, I would encourage any one to give this a try. No, not the best cigar by far, but I dont think it can be overlooked. Yes this a (TC) short filler cigar, but it preforms better than any other in its class-fonseca-JL piedra or Quintero. The blend is reminisent of the El ray cigars, mild to medium but deffinetly flavorfull. I have had no draw or combustiom problems at all.The construction is a little rough by not bad at all. I find these a very pleasant cigar and one of the best values I have ever purchased,I cant think of any other at this price that is better. - Submitted by elaw on January 20, 2007
