Review #53: I almost gave up on JLP until I read #52's review(always good reviews from #52). I purchased two boxes worth at a good holiday price and figured, what the heck, I have had other JLPs, but never the Brevas. When I opened the box the strong aromas of sweet caramel, spice or vanilla hit me and my first thought was how I never got that from premium cubans,so I knew these may be a good cigar. The draw was good, the flavors were strong and sweet, and the aroma was so good that another person in the room asked what I was smoking because it smelled so good(last time I smoked a Conserva around company a person asked if I was smoking weed!) Very pleased with this JLP, now to look for the Petite Cazadores as recommened. - Submitted by birage on January 7, 2009

Review #52: These are great machine made Cubans. I usually end up with some short filler in my mouth by the end of each smoke, but the flavours are very good. Excellent value for the price. Probably one of the better JLP's with the Petite Cazadores leading the pack from this particular brand. - Submitted by cookj1 on December 11, 2008

Review #51: Я купил пачку из 5 сигар. У сигар своеобразный вкус. Не могу сказать что очень мне понравился. Зато цена понравилась. Рекомендую для курения на свежем воздухе. - Submitted by 9911166 on November 23, 2008

Review #50: SEP 06 Once again a perfectly passable Cuban for the price of a King Edward! Brevas tend to be darker and stronger than the other Piedra and usually a good draw, rich flavor and the price? I can get 25 for about #35 in some duty frees in the Gulf. You'll get a few bad draws, so what at that price? Piedra are better than many other brands. I wasted 3 x the price on a box of Partagas, not a single one of which would draw without a drill being used on it. Here's a tip. Save your fancy bands and fit them on these honest Cuban country style smokes. Then you can show off at a fraction of the price and don't be fooled by the humility, this smoke packs way above it's weight, a certain 4 star. - Submitted by peterg123 on October 16, 2008

Review #49: A very good value. Nice oily wrapper, attractive band, not terribly constructed, a few bits of tobacco in your teeth...slightly green with a bitter roasted flavor up front, then quickly settles down to some classic Cuban flavor, straight tobacco taste, some twang. I'd take it over any non-Cuban cigar, and it's only $2...it is what it is. - Submitted by chazman on October 15, 2008
