Review #43: I want to reiterate what Reviewer #40 said -you MUST lay these cigars down for about a year (or more) to get real flavor out of them. Case in point, after a year of resting in my humidor, I got great flavors of bittersweet chocolate and aromas of various exotic woods that I was not at all expecting. I also love the size of this vitola - between a corona gorda and a lonsdale. When I smoked one last year, it didn't do much for me - thought it was kind of flat, fairly generic "cuban tobacco" flavor without anything particularly prominent about it. Wow was the wait worth it! - Submitted by Goldenberg on April 12, 2009

Review #42: JUN 00 I bought 4 cabinets x 25. What an amazing vitola! Smooth, easy to draw, full of flavor. Nice and easy burn. Well balanced. Great value for the money. Definitely one of the best Hoyos. - Submitted by ericbmf on March 15, 2009

Review #41: Smoked a box from 07 and a few given to me from a box of 95. Wow, if any underlining was needed for aging, this was it! The older ones were absolutely beautiful and creamy. That's not to say the 07 box was bad. It wasn't! It just gets even better with age, that's all! - Submitted by celsis on March 9, 2009

Review #40: --- 05 I think the key to these cigars is a bit of age - as borne out from the other reviews below. At times these cigars can appear bland, but with a bit of patience, they develop into lovely cigars. Excellent in the afternoon, rather than after a heavy meal in the evening. Perfect burn, gorgeous light brown wrapper. Sweet milky coffee is what I get with a bit of wood as the cigar develops. Lots of smoke. Perfect for a lazy afternoon. - Submitted by BigAl75 on January 31, 2009

Review #39: JUL 02 I was in Melbourne Crown Casino a month ago and went into the cigar shop. They had a nice variety and my eyes laid on this pretty cigar whcih i've read so many good reviews about here. So I purhcased it and after few weeks in my humi lite it up. What can I say! It was so amazing that I decided to purchase two boxes from an online retailer. The box I have is from an 02 box and the taste is just amazing. This is for sure one of my top 10 favourite cigars! I tasted lots of capochino and honey with some woody taste. It is just ana amazing cigar. I have never been a fan of Hoyo DC but this stick is a totally different story. For all the afficionados who haven't tried this yet ... you are wasting precious time! if you can find them go out and buy them! - Submitted by maalouly on November 5, 2008
