Review #29: MAY 14 While it has been quite a minute since last offering a review i must say, H.Upmanns I like, but they are far from my most favored cigar. The Half Corona however greatly surprised me and I had been curious about this mareva for about a year. After diving in finally, it was a must that I get back into the frey. Dry smell? Not much there but dry inhale? Absolute hint of vague fig, definite nutmeg with cinnamon in the background. Hmmmm... firm, well filled and a moderate sheen of oil. Upon lighting the first stick from the box I was hooked but could not definitively describe why. But I smoked that bad boy in a half an hour....hey it was my birthday, the El Ninos have come but it is a crisp sunny afternoon here in Cali,an I ain't smoked in a month sooooo.... now three days later, that would be today, I said let me just take my time with this puppy. 1st.third.Upon first lite the oil on the wrapper shines up like urethane...Oh Wow, Okay...you don't have to wait you get the pure right away. Lots of nutmeg and true, solid "medio" Cuban flavor. 2nd third I'm getting more cinnamon spice on the draw the nutmeg is there but takes a back seat. Not tangy mind you, just mellow flavorful spice. Very enjoyable! Last third, I thought God was calling me to an east indian barbeque in Heaven..Tangeres roasted meat flavors of Cardamon, cinnamon, and Morrocan orange. I nubbed the Hell out of this thing. No really. Down to 5/8ths of an inch. No burn issues until I got down to the last half inch at which point I thought it went out. I was in the park with the dog so I must have gotten distracted....I puffed that bad boy hard five or six times and she lit up like a chinese lantern, corrected the burn and I was back in some foreign land. Yeah I know, sorry, got carried away with some long ass winded story. But these? they are worth it. I eeked out 57 minutes wit dis.I expected maaaaybe 40...GOOD DEAL! Review #28: My first cigar to be dated! Very smooth leather, pinch of wood, the marzipan or almond, a bit sweet and salty! A great fast smoke. 8/10 - Submitted by 4rz on October 27, 2015

Review #27: Great little smoke, impeccably even burn and medium-full flavor profile. Leather, wood and chocolate with touches of marzipan from time to time. Limited spiciness which is a feature I generally welcome, enjoyed with a Boulevardier on rocks as palate refresher between draws. 8/10 - Submitted by 07sta on June 7, 2015

Review #26: Great price and great smoke. - Submitted by rsrp2012 on April 11, 2015

Review #25: APR 13 This is a wonderful new addition to the Upmann line. I've smoked about 20 of these, from tins and a box, and have found them very consistent. Clean toast and tobacco taste, and a bit too much tannin for my taste. The latter is a good sign for aging potential. They are a fine and satisfying cigar for now, but I believe these will be outstanding with at least 5 years of age. - Submitted by Professor Twain on January 28, 2015
