Review #11: I have a 2001 Box. This is a nicely box-pressed, deep leather-colored, cigar. I enjoyed the ever present cuban aroma ematating from the box. This cigar took me hour to complete; I am a heavy puffer. The Monarcas is well-filled. There were no soft spots. This is a man's companion of a cigar. Taste was of smooth, carameled tobacco. It's a medium to full bodied smoke. I was not left wanting more, after smoking this cigar. It fulfills. - Submitted by HUC on March 5, 2006

Review #10: This cigar had the best, clean cuban tobacco taste I ever experienced in a cigar. Extremely beautiful and perfect Julieta. Unlimited ageing potential, this cigar deserves to rest for at least 8-10 years or even longer because really old H.Upman cigars like Monarcas, Sir Winston and Magnum 46 are among the best cigars in the world. You can compare them with great old Bordeaux wines, reasonably good when young, heaven on earth when the mighty potential come to life after a few decades! A classic by any standard! - Submitted by a.martinsen on February 14, 2006

Review #9: A 5 star Havana. Firstly I am not sure of the box date mine were from, I got 2 and without going into detail I think they were '01 or '02. Perfect roll, beautiful unlit smell, fantastic burn qualities and cool, mellow, delicious smoke, smooth at cream to the nub. A dance of creamy cocoa, coffee and dark woody flavours going from the lighter side of medium to touching on full in the last third. The wel mentioned, subtle dusty, musty aroma and a building tangyness with more robust mspice only appearing in the last quarter. Nubbed to an inch. The best churchills I have smoked since a 1994 Romeo last year. - Submitted by A. Dyer on November 19, 2005

Review #8: I have several boxes from EANABR 01 and they are the bomb. Classic upmann flavors and aromas, and the ever so elusive hupmann musty taste and smell. Only a well aged, square pressed hupmann is able to produce these qualities. Who needs to spend the xtra money for a sir winston when these with enough aging are the best. - Submitted by bigyesta on March 10, 2005

Review #7: I bought half a box in Cancun...I was suprised by the flavor and aroma, very good indeed. It was not to strong, but I wouldn't call it a mild. The ones I've smoked so far burn even and draw is smooth. I'll buy a whole box if I can get my hands on them..... - Submitted by thevon on January 18, 2005
