Review #48: OCT 08 Ver disappointing after being used to the EL 2005. I would NEVER buy this cigar again! I think it is not even close to the very good EL 2005 - Submitted by cigarman74 on July 31, 2009

Review #47: MAR 08 A year ago, I reviewed the Upmann Mag 50. I liked it a lot. Good construction, nice wrapper, medium to full body, nice blending of well-aged tobaccos with an good notes of leather, earthiness, light pepper. Hints of wine, flowers, and fruits. Good draw. Lingering finish on every puff. I gave the cigar a 10. After waiting a year, I lit up another and am experiencing deja vu, with improvements. Some serious cedar wood and subtle saltiness have developed. And the tannics are have faded now while the flavors have remained satisfying. Can't go any higher than 10. - Submitted by cpubiz on July 31, 2009

Review #46: Just had one of the two i orderd online to try and i must say im most diserpointed there was nothing in the flavor to warrent the "magnum 50" name the only thing going for it atm is the good construction and exerlent draw maybe another 6-12 months in my humi will change things. - Submitted by 1234 on July 19, 2009

Review #45: AUG 08 i was so excited when these were released because i was expecting it to be a very similar if not identical blend to the EL 05's, so i bought a 50 count...initially i was extremely disappointed in this smoke but after some age this cigar is starting to develop into a excellent smoke...still it is not the same as the original Mag 50's...they have a complex medium body flavors which give off woody, earthy flavors with some tea notes - Submitted by sause2112 on July 17, 2009

Review #44: OCT 08 Got a box of 10 out of Hong Kong, the first three to smoke have had rather mixed results. The first had a tight knot right in the middle making the draw an awful fight; the second started well, but kept extinguishing during the last half; the third was reverse, started like hell, but finished excellent. Say it with me: inconsistent. Taste was above average for all three, the only saving grace. Complex robust espresso tones, heavy pillows held on the tounge. Can't say the QPR is worthwile. - Submitted by SBERG on June 17, 2009
