Review #43: Incredible aroma before lighting this beautifully constructed cigar. Perfect draw and I was ready to get this show on the road. First third revealed spiciness and some beautiful flavors including leather and spice but I think my over anticipation and lack of patience revealed that a bit of time in the humidor would have paid off since it was a tad harsh. I think I enjoyed the Magnum 46 a bit more. I believe that there are better Cubans out there for less money since this purchase was almost $30 in Canada! - Submitted by jazzbass on June 10, 2009

Review #42: JUL 08 I have smoked 10 of these from a 25 box dated july 08. Two of those, were immediatelly smoked after purchase and have to say (as strange as it might seem) that were more than excellent: perfect draw, even burn, excellent taste and aroma and fully complex (i could swear that these two cigars changed taste profile at least 6 times). After that the nightmare begun: Three were pleasant but quite flat and boring. The rest were horribly plugged and impossible to smoke, also smelled awfully! So, two great cigars out of ten is a bad score, and i ll give it the same! - Submitted by Burning_phoenix on June 3, 2009

Review #41: MAR 08 What a cigar. H Upman makes good, solid cigars. They have a nice range, and the 2's and 46's are probally the best due to their unique and classic qualities. Good tabacco is not enough, it takes a hint of the unknown to create the masters, and the 50 does not quite make the mold. There is no doubt it is a good cigar, big and timely it moves from smooth beginnings to a strong and spicey close. The burn was fine, no relight, and that added with the smooth, easy draw made for a good smoke. I did like the way this cigar held its shape and strength, not becoming soft or loose toward the back of the smoke. Im not sure I will buy another box, but I can't say I am disappointed. Maybe that's the issue, that I feel unsure of whether I am smoking a real top notch cigar, or just another strong runner in the Upman field, - Submitted by johnydraw on May 22, 2009

Review #40: Being a big fan of the EL 2005 Magnum 50, I tried this year when it first came out. It's totally different to the EL 2005, but I have to say this is one of the best current production Cuban cigar out there. Very complex. You have to try one !!! - Submitted by oscarc on May 21, 2009

Review #39: MAR 08 Awsome awsome smoke! Smoked for almost 3 hours and until my fingers burnt. Woody and spicy is my review. Drink lots of water with this badboy. 100% recommend to all. - Submitted by tommy18 on May 11, 2009
