Review #32: MAY 08 PBS MAY 08 - WOW!!! Never got to try the EL 2005's - these new production superb. Very happy I ordered them the first day my supplier recieved as hours later they were sold out. The whole box is completely consistent in appearence, perfect oily medium colour (with hint of golden red)wrapper. Perfectly rolled with perfect draw. Unlit aroma slightly tannic as is the flavour - these are only 3 months old and do have a sourness to them through the initial first couple of inches. I quite like this personally. Light to medium strength but very full flavour. Remind me of the MC robusto millenium Jars I had and also smoked when very young - much to some of reviewers despair. I find no similarity to the Sir Winstons but they do remind me of a longer Upmann Robusto special 2007 that came in the Leather/cedar travel humidor. Flavour so complex difficult to write description - best to say it has it all. - Submitted by ian on September 6, 2008

Review #31: MAR 05 Increíble. Excelente desde el principio, pero superior la segunda mitad. El final, para quemarse los dedos. Un diez de los de verdad. - Submitted by frulgens on August 19, 2008

Review #30: MAR 08 This is the new production model Magnum 50. Handsome medium-brown wrapper, many tiny veins, the oils coat my fingers. Wrapper and foot have the leathery, earthy aromas of well-aged tobacco. Generous draw, pre-light taste of young wine and flowers. First puff is peppery and lightly tannic, lingers for minutes on the lips and mouth. Notes of wine and fruit on pure Upmann base of rich, clean toasty tobaccos. Body starts medium, quickly grows a bit more full, the most powerful Upmann I've yet experienced. Short, creviced, nearly-white ash falls without warning. These flavors remain in harmonious balance to the end, never overwhelming or bitter. Luxurious smoke volume, even and slow burn. - Submitted by cpubiz on August 16, 2008

Review #29: OCT 05 I was just in London and there are a few LE 2005's left (although you will pay full price). More importantly the standard production Magnum 50's are out and they are delicous - easier draw than the LE's but very young compared to the LE's - looking forward to aging them a few years - Submitted by Texas on August 4, 2008

Review #28: Steinmaier - I completely agree with you. I have about 14 of these left, wish I had the foresight to buy several boxes. - Submitted by mfh1957 on June 25, 2008
