MAY 08 This cigar was discontinued however H Upman has released the exact blend without the EL 2005 band. The new line has a red band that says magnum 50. Smoking one as I write this review. Very smooth, flavor-able smoke, the ash is perfect whitish grey, the draw is nice and even and the width of this cigar is perfecto. A true pleasure! JUN 08 from a 10 cabinet 08 version,dark rapper and good draw, but what a disappointment !!! totally bland no flavor at all, i was expecting full flavor something alittle close to the sir winston .. hopefully the rest of the box will have more flavor. but for now big let down.. - Submitted by k9ahara on November 6, 2008

JAN 07 WOW, What can I say about this cigar? First of all it was a medium to full body cigar. The length and width were wonderful. The cigar almost took 2 hours to smoke.I would say about 1 1/2 smoked it fairly quick in my opinion. I tasted light coffee, cocoa and that classic Cuban cedar taste at the end of the palette. It had perfect ash, draw and pull however I did have to light it up twice which took it away from being a 10. It is by far my favorite Double Robusto. MAR 08 Just bought a 10 cabinet of the 2008 "regular" release. A very distant cousin to the superb 2005 Limited Edition. A pale brown wrapper replaces the foreboding Maduro of the 2005 LE. The blend is reminiscent, but without the rich, fruity flavors. Somewhat bland comparatively. Easier draw but less combustion. Spongier and milder.
