Review #319: Love this cigar. Down to the 2013 boxes of POU code. Great wrappers .. wonderful construction. Starts heavy on the pepper with great toasted tobacco... moves into that tangarine sour cream then continues on into fresh roasted coffee .. cocoa.. the pepper disappears Some earth some wet grass clippings along the way. Excellent young or old. I have a few boxes aging and happy into the young. Ash is white but a bit flaky... but holds up way past an inch. Burn is usually straight. The odd one is a bit tight on the draw but usually enough resistance wihout too tight or too easy. I like them when the wrappers are abit darker and oily. the aroma out of the box on those ones is fantastic and they smoke that way...Those i usually age. The ones that come with a lighter more colorado wrapper coupled with not as much oil i smooke after a month in the humi. Trust me those ones arent too bad either. Overall i rate the D4s a great robusto cigar.I smoke 3 or 4 a week. Box at the moment is POU Sept 2013... ive been chasing the POU boxes all year and have bought multiples. Never been let down. Theyre very good to unbelievably fantastic - Submitted by stigmata on June 10, 2014

Review #318: FEB 08 Not my favourite size although most appear to disagree with me.However this cigar is excellent plenty of spice and developing flavours in another couple of years it could be a 10. - Submitted by paul watson on May 28, 2014

Review #317: Just smoked my first D4, a young cigar with less than one year of age, definitely full strength. This cigar does not kid around, full of flavor right from the start. Great construction with nice even burn. Flavor is very similar to the Shorts. Harsh in the last third, will rest for a few month and see how it turns out. Had a big meal before smoking and still almost knocked me out. - Submitted by santela on May 10, 2014
