Review #41: One of the best cigars I had ever smoked. Strong with lots of flavor. Like all Cubans needs to rest for some time in the humidor for some time. Perfect after a good meal, accompany this cigar with a mellow spirit like my favorite Metaxa. Offers 45min to 1 hour of pleasure. - Submitted by Costas Leonidou on October 18, 2004

Review #40: A beautifully constructed cigar, but I usually find the draw a bit too easy. Toasted flavours, and leather, simply getting stronger in the final third. Loads of nicotine! Sure this cigar is good, except for the easy draw and nicotine hit, but it's almost as though it so typifies what Cuban cigars are like that it is dead boring. - Submitted by peanutaxis on October 17, 2004

Review #39: Excellent smoke from beginning to end, tried a JUN04 puro and knew instantly that this was a serious smoke, with a medium and at times full body, well balanced/smooth, classic Cuban Partagas aroma and construction. Some aging will only improve on the flavor. 90+ puro for sure. - Submitted by mdb on October 8, 2004

Review #38: The D4 really packs an incredible load of quality tobacco. This is the smoothest cigar period. Even those from June '04 exhibit no harshness, right out of the box. Very good for chain smoking! - Submitted by tang on October 8, 2004

Review #37: Partagas Serie D No. 4 does not need a presentation; writing an introduction may be disrespectful. There is a lot to say, and we will never be able to summarise with some few words, the story and even the major points of the legendary D 4. - Submitted by "The Dude" on October 4, 2004
