Review #106: Judging from the great reviews here I can already expect to get hammered for what I'm about to say..... I've had several of these and I have to say simply "not for me". Draws beautifully and is definately a 1st rate smoke in terms of construction and quality, but the flavour is just a little one dimentional for my taste. I generally love Partagas (especially the SerieP#2) but this one just doesn't do it for me. I much prefer the RASS and Hoyo epicure#2.... Just MHO - Submitted by newbie on April 26, 2006

Review #105: This is a wonderful cigar. Medium flavor, but potent enough to sit you down! When it comes down to it, there is something indescribale that makes a cigar great. This cigar has it- and at a very reasonable price. Try this cigar. It will not dissapoint! - Submitted by timmytie on April 26, 2006

Review #104: To reviewer 100: I never encountered a single problem while smoking a Partagas SD4. It's one of the best Robustos on the market, in the last 3 years, competing with all the great Cuban robustos, such as Cohiba or Hoyo de Monterrey. So, I'm very surprised you encountered such problems. Maybe the batch was too young or maybe it was - God knows how - a fake that sneaked into a serious delivery of genuine Cubans. The quality of Cuban cigars has really improved after the takeover by Altadis and, by all means, at the same amount of money, Cubans are far better than any non-Cuban. Anyway, do replace the box immediately or get another one. You won't be dissappointed, trust me. - Submitted by Razvan Voncu on April 14, 2006

Review #103: To reviewer #100---It is often discussed on numerous cigar boards that mysteriously, the PSD4 goes through a VERY long "sick period." I have personally experienced this with several orders. The tight draw could be from over-humidifying (often found with vendors who ship overseas). I would bury them deep and forget about them for two years and I would bet my bottom dollar you will find "magic!" Trust me on this!! - Submitted by Shooter on April 14, 2006

Review #102: To reviewer No. 100...if you got a box of D4's that were that horrible, please get your money back from your dealer and give it one more chance! Your dealer somehow got a very bad box, and will be glad you sent it back, or whatever his policies are. IMHO, this really is an outstanding cigar, period, but it's also a top 3 best Robustos as well...that frequently goes head-to-head with others like Cohiba, RASS, Bolivar Royal Coronas, etc., and regularly comes out ahead. I have a total of four boxes right now in my humidor, 3 each have about 19-20 sticks each, and 1 is full...I gotta say, I open so many at once just to experience the consistancy of this near-perfect smoke! Sorry for the mildly weird and probably paranoid defense of the smoke, lol, but I really do hope you give them a chance. It'll be good news, promise! - Submitted by dlctwice on April 14, 2006
