Partagas Astorias Review:

This hand-made tastes quite similar to Aristocrats in case you have ever tried one of them. Strong. Good draw and even burn with espresso, cocoa, vanilla and cinnamon flavours make this cigar a real treasure if you know how to age it properly. A collector's item.

Review #8: Sorry to cool this enthusiastic reviewers down a bit, but my box from 05/ī01 is not backing itīs position as second best smoke ever on CigarsReview.org! It is indeed a good cigar, quite much of the Partagas flavor, it is somehow strong though far from being overpowered, itīs a nice one for the afternoon. But I canīt judge it being any better than a Partagas Mille Fleurs, for example. There are much better cigars in this brandīs range of vitolae. - Submitted by speedy gonzales on August 31, 2007

Review #7: '98 astorias opened at christmas '06. have smoked 1/2 a box since christmas...swiftly becoming my favorite cigar...these are some of the best i have.very strong and very partagas...no oranges or lawn clippings here just fine fine tobacco. - Submitted by dvickery on April 13, 2007

Review #6: realy surprised by the quality of this sigar. lovely taste, good draw, even burn, everything you want to have from a cigar. not that expensive though. - Submitted by Jort on April 22, 2005

Review #5: Just was rotating cigars in my humidor, and these stand out as a real classic, its a shame partagas has discontiunued this vitole, its a real gem. The boxes i have in stock are all from 00 production runs, the wrappers dark chocolate and the aromas of warm cuban cedar abound. When lighting the first real tease to the senses are the flavors of well aged tobacco, drizzle ontop of that fresh espresso beans, and dark swiss chocolat. A true cuban classic if ever there was one. This reminds me of some old Hupmann Corona majors my father has from 1972, they are still in the tubes and aging ever so gracefully - Submitted by YESTAGRANDE on January 31, 2005

Review #4: What a classic of fine cuban flavors and aromas, i cant understand why no one is reviewing these. The 00 production runs are classic, dark chocolate flawless wrappers, gentle square press, unmistakabe partagas flavors and aromas, strong smooth well aged tobacco is the primary here, with espresso and chocolate very prevelent. The unique partagas twang is ever so present as the bloom starts on the top layer. they will only get betterfrom here on out, and that is hard to do. If you can find them snap them up they are a one of a kind Gem. - Submitted by bigyesta on January 28, 2005
