Review #59: MAY 03 An aristocrat. It would be unfair to beginners or the novice to score a cigar like the Salomones. A cigar that needs time to ferment and extra time to age. Five years minimum before lighting such a classy companion. Cutting it is a novelty. You need to slice both edges if you want proper lighting from the start. Smoke comes in tons but can be controlled. Taste is beyond comparison, cocoa and spices all over. And the smell!!! No words to describe it - Submitted by El Greco on September 14, 2009

Review #58: JAN 08 My first time testing a Cuaba. my smoking partner tried one a couple of months back, and had a rough time keeping the cigar burning. that being said, I was very hesitant on buying and smoking one. After reading a number of good reviews on this website, I decided to purchase one. I smoked this stick while on my company golf tournament. Started off with some velvety rich smoke, and light flavours of vanilla and caramel. Once I got into the 2/3 it started showing me it's true colours and let loose with the flavours. Rich rich cocoa and vanilla with hints of a creamy sweetness. This cigar smoke extremely well, and slow. my last 1/3 was more of the same thing, just more and more goodness. I smoked it down to a hot nub and really did not want to let go of it. When I got home, I ordered myself a box of these. I can not wait to un-package them and set my torch to one. I highly recommend this to all smokers. Even being much lighter than I usually smoke (Monte/Vegas), I really enjoyed this and look forward to sitting down to one soon. - Submitted by thebigd on August 26, 2009

Review #57: NOV 08 Just finished the first from a recent box and I am quite impressed. Flavors of spice, leather, and cream are prevalent throughout the entire experience. The draw was a little tight but opened up significantly after the midpoint. Burn was good if slightly uneven at times. Nice sweet creamy taste with fleeting notes of black cherries. Flavors turned acidic towards the last couple of inches which would attest to the youth of this stick. Good aging potential and a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours outside on a lazy Sunday afternoon. - Submitted by jfury76 on July 6, 2009

Review #56: JUN 08 Really enjoyed this and expect to enjoy it more with a bit more age on it. Predominant flavor for me was "toasted tobacco", which I found quite pleasant. Not normally a cuaba smoker, so not sure if this is what the brand tends to taste like or not, but bought the box because of the reviews posted here. Will look for a bit more complexity next time. Also, construction was perfect and an outstanding value for the size. - Submitted by Goldenberg on June 22, 2009

- Submitted by cipu on May 19, 2009
