Review #59: Purchased several from reputable government shop in Cuba September 2003. Smoked a few since then and I'll give the same general review for all of them - nice, but not memorable. First 2/3 was not unpleasant, but not up to expectations. Didn't build much character (if any). Draw was very good, but just didn't produce much real flavour. No real change in taste until last 1/3, which was markedly better (thick creamy smoke with wonderful cedar and tobacco flavour), but still nothing that would justify the price. There are better, more complex and consistent cigars in the robusto size that are not nearly as expensive. A reasonable analogy would be that this is the Cadillac of cigars - pricey, seemingly affluent, suppose to give an air of prestige and some people will buy nothing but; however, they can be underperformers and tend to prove lacklustre after you've test driven other models. A cigar for those who like to be seen with a cigar, rather than enjoy a cigar. - Submitted by jenkycat on January 30, 2006

Review #58: Although not scaling the heights of when they were just introduced, the quality of these has come back (2005) and they are pretty consistent in my experience. Complex, nutty flavors with a medium to full body. One of my favorite vitolas. - Submitted by pachemar on January 14, 2006

Review #57: This is a really good smoke. The construction is very good. The taste is also very good - Submitted by hoyoman on November 21, 2005

Review #56: Another fine cigar. Great draw and perfect flavour. Not overpowering at first, but builds nicely right to the end. I like the large ring size as it makes each draw very tasty. Cheers. - Submitted by Bejamquinn on November 17, 2005

Review #55: To reviewer #54. I hate to give you the bad news. I think you have a boxes of counterfeits. I was given a box as a gift similar as you described being maduro in color. They were fakes! - Submitted by Esh on November 8, 2005
