Cohiba Robustos Review:

This Cohiba vitola has made Robustos one of the most desired Habanos in the market. This one is a real piece of jewellery not to be confused with a simple thick cigar, one of the problems when it comes to define Robustos. There are only nine authentic Robustos and this one is the most complex, because of its strength and excellent joint.

FEB 19 Ran into a tight draw (again), immature flavors (sweet but harsh), poor and uneven burn throughout, hard to keep lit. Extremely disappointing for Cigar Aficionado's #4 overall cigar in 2020. FEB 19 Have a box of RUM FEB-19 and smoked the 5th one out of the box in West Hollywood this Sunday watching NFL games. Good draw, good combustion and construction, classic honey and hay flavors, good smoke output. Had to re-light it halfway through, but smoked it to the nub. Cohiba is by far my favorite Cuban brand. Cohiba Robustos New Label.Fine Colorado Wrapper with some veins, nice oily sheen. Solid construction and excellent draw. Burn was wavy but no need for corrections. Taste started immediately with notes of leather, toasted almonds, cocoa. A bit of pepper comes in and blends with core flavors. medium grey ash with dark streaks. Cone was whitish grey when tipped.Some dry woody noted on the retro and finish. Medium Flavor and strength. Not overly complex. Very enjoyable - Submitted by Diver369 on April 1, 2019
