Review #48: FEB 08 Smoked a couple of these over the past week, factory code MEL FEB 08. Very good, cool to start and builds in the last third. Tightly rolled, softens up gradually. Beautifully built, superb burn, takes a little under 2 hrs. Very highly recommended. - Submitted by Taqi on August 27, 2008

Review #47: I've smoked five of these over the course of a year. The appearance (as noted above) was not what I would call attractive. However, once into each of these rough sticks, I was duly impressed. I'm a Cohiba "grassy" fan and these don't dissappoint. All in all, a great smoke with all the nuances of Cubans you could ask for. - Submitted by matthew261 on August 14, 2008

Review #46: SEP 01 A staggeringly good cigar. In spite of a slightly ugly wrapper, the smoke was tremendous - very rich, beautifully smooth. It's not quite sweet, but fills the mouth with the sensation of molasses, a fantastic experience. - Submitted by Philski on May 31, 2008

Review #45: I had my second chance with the Lancero yesterday. Again, it was packed so tight that I barely got any smoke coming through. No Aroma at all. Unforgivable for a premium Marca at that price level. Won´t buy it again. - Submitted by speedy gonzales on May 3, 2008

Review #44: Holly Cow what a block buster of a cigar no wonder this was a symbol of excellence of cigar for gifts to diplomats in Cuba loaded with coffee and smothness unlike any other cigar I have expierence Fidel himself was smoking this cigar the whole time when he was visting Angola. That should tell you how good it is. - Submitted by cmyparadise4u on August 28, 2007
