Cohiba Coronas Especiales Review:

This cigar was created in the year 1969, but marketed internationally in 1982. Shorter than Lanceros, but very similar tasting. Rich and elegant, with medium floral, coffee, vanilla and cocoa flavours. The strong tobacco taste is predominant. As it ages quite well, those who know how to wait for it, discover the great pleasure of this smoke.

Review #56: --- 10 Really great Cohiba, with loads of typical deep flavours from the brand and also complexity. However, it is just a 60 minutes smoking, which is fine for me, but insufficient to many others. So so pleasant. - Submitted by Heinrich on September 22, 2020

Review #55: MAR 17 Absolutely magnificent cigar. Draw was perfect, good resistance but not tight and producing lots of smoke with an even burn. A few years maturing will do wonders, bringing out some of the more subtle flavours. All the classic Cohiba flavour but more concentrated and with a little more body to it than most siglos. Rich and creamy, milk coffee, dry grass and honey with more citrus, herbal notes and exotic spice developing and a little toasty earthiness past the halfway mark. The last third developed the lovely almond type notes and some black pepper. Smoked beautifully to the fingertips before getting hot. - Submitted by A. Dyer on May 18, 2019

Review #54: MAR 10 Just amazing, everything I love in a cigar. It is not too strong yet has deep flavours. It starts out a bit tame but once you work towards the middle it gets better and better. The small gauge also makes for a very easy and calm smoke, especially for people who don't smoke that much (like me). - Submitted by Dylan4 on January 11, 2019

Review #53: JUN 04 Half way through a stick of this gem as I type. It is okay, nothing much to shout about really. - Submitted by tcmcigar on October 6, 2018

Review #52: OCT 11 I'm nursing this 2011 box and each stick gets better. With 7 years of age, it has rich sweet flavors of honey, nuts, vanilla, and a bit of mocha. Smooth perfection. When a bit younger it had a little pleasant tangy citrus peel flavor but that has passed. When young the citrus and strength detract from the cigar. Better flavors than the Siglos IMO. My favorite Cohiba, I think they need at least 5 years to bring out their best. - Submitted by Professor Twain on August 18, 2018
