Review #76: ---   after smoking a box complete within the last year i have to put this up there among the best recent cuban cigars i have smoked...packed with flavor from start to finish..chocolate creamy smooth taste with overall great burn...very pleased with this cigar...93 out of 100 - Submitted by sause2112 on August 23, 2010

Review #75: --- 00 Great flavour however the worst rolled cigar I've ever had the displeasure of smoking. The wrapper only ever charred, never did burn because there was so much binder and it was rolled so tightly that the wrapper never had the opportunity to burn. I can recognize that this would be a terrific cigar if only it was properly rolled. I'll make a point of trying a more recent box and hope for redemption. - Submitted by rainman on August 2, 2010

Review #74: ---   Wonderfully rich full-bodied cigar and gigantic in taste. Flavor of deep dark chocolate was obvious. Bolivar corona gigante reminded me of my trip to Italy where I had absolutely superb espresso. This cigar is so filled with delicious aroma that it almost makes your socks spin. While smoker hovers in heaven, Bolivar has it's foot firmly down to earth. The appearance of the wrapper is slightly rough but it only tells something about this cigar's character. It was a bit shame that it turned bitter quite early in my opinion. Anyway, this was a one of the best cigars I have smoked. - Submitted by Finn on May 17, 2010

Review #73: JUN 08 Tried one the other day out of a box of 25s that I got recently. Shy of a few weeks in the humidor, I decided to give it a shot given the good reviews so I selected the worst looking from the lot with a cracking wrapper and solid to the point you could barely press it at all. Naturally, it was plugged very badly. What little smoke that came through was very flavoursome with woody earthiness though. Anyway, the nice smooth wrapper continued to crack right down the cigar. To my dismay, it started to come undone. Mind you, it did improve the draw a little but it was not long before the whole stick started to unravel. There was barely an inch of ash before I gave up trying to hold loose leaves together. Finally, I was left with a smouldering mess of sweet smelling tobacco. What a waste. Probably needs more time in the humidor before I try again. This along with the Bolivar Churchill I tried earlier in the month were the first two from this brand and it has been truly disappointing. I hope the box of Tubos No. 2 will be better. I will not put an official rating down as I feel it will not do it justice. - Submitted by sengjc on February 22, 2010

Review #72: AUG 08 Just an absolutely superb cigar. Chocolate, salt, creme, and a finish that knocks me on my ass just about every time. Occasionally come across one that is plugged. easily a 9. BLPAUG08. Don't know how I'm gonna keep my hands off them. - Submitted by ivo on October 5, 2009
