Review #36: I dug a bit deep in the humidor tonight and retrieved a cabinet version from '03. These are cherished smokes and "Father's Day" seemed an appropriate time to enjoy another. Once again--this cigar proved to be absolutely stellar!! The note of "anise" previously might be just the flavor I was trying to discern the entire cigar! Much more "fruity" to me than most Bolivars--which is appealing to me. Just an absolutlely incredible cigar. They could not get any better. Even the Cohiba Esplendidos I have can't compete. This IS the finest "Churchill" size smoke on the planet. - Submitted by Shooter on June 18, 2007

Review #35: Just finished a wonderful 02 that was, as Bassman observed with the 03, strong and smooth with rich earthy notes added to it beautiful anise throughout which built from the first inch to the end. Also had wonderful pepper in the final 3 inches. Great cigar on a patio at the end of great day. - Submitted by randallp on May 30, 2007

Review #34: My favorite Churchill. Strong yet smooth, with rich earthy flavor. 03s are my year of choice, but based on a sample from early 06, they are well worth having too. - Submitted by Bassman on April 19, 2007

Review #33: I have a box of these in my ageing room. That being said, I have tried a couple of them and they are delicious cigars. - Submitted by canadian bacon on March 26, 2007

Review #32: I am sorry that Bolivars are getting recognition. For years I felt this was my secret Cuban. I believe that aging is being sacraficed so that more get to the market sooner. Get a box, enjoy the 1st one and let the box age for 6 months in your humidor. You will then truely experience this "special" cigar in all of its glory. - Submitted by Mark Wells on March 19, 2007
