Romeo y Julieta Escudos LE 2007 Review:

The size is best-known as a Gordito. A perfect well-balanced cigar and ready to be enjoyed.

Review #15: Very well done cigar, with a sweet good taste. I enjoyed smoking very slowly. It could be really perfect, just having more complex development. It's not a masterpiece, but is finally a very good RJ. - Submitted by papageno on April 8, 2008

Review #14: This is a FANTASTIC smoke....not one of those you have to "wait" to see how it develops....from the first puff, you knew you had struck gold...it surprised you that way...very strong in taste....sweet.....wonderful...you cannot go wrong....SMOKE ONE! - Submitted by hellion5 on March 29, 2008

Review #13: Smoked like a gem after resting for 6 months. Nice balanced draw and mid dense smoke. Initial 1/3 - Hints of EL 2005 Petite Piramide. Flavours of slightly stronger R&J, refined pepper and spice, earthy towards 2/3. Stonger taste (dark, full roasted arabica) developed towards the last third but not overpowering. Beautiful silky whitish-grey ash throughout. No hints of nicotine even to the end. Worth the wait. - Submitted by mef on March 4, 2008

Review #12: The Hermoso No.2 EL was one of my favorites from RyJ so i anticipated with strong confidence that the Escudo would perform as well. true enough. satisfactory aroma, excellent coffee flavors with hints of spice and earthy undertones. finish was however quite short and the Escudo didnt produce as much smoke as I would like it to. a great size for aficionados everywhere. Highly recommended - Submitted by Duncan on February 22, 2008

Review #11: I agree with review#6 found this to be very spicy and lacking in complexity there were moments of earthy flavours coming through but they were short lived, pity as this was a birthday present, probably should have waited until my next birthday.... - Submitted by wmarler on December 26, 2007
