Review #11: The Ramon Allones Gigantes certainly ranks as my personal favourite for a choice of prominente or DC. Superb draw stick after stick and amazing construction. Prelit scent is light but already an accurate prelude to its medium rich nutty taste. It burns excellent as the rings of ash build up to 3 inches before dropping. smoke is thick and smooth with distinct flavors of macadamia and hazel nuts. A great DC for the beginner, the RA Gigantes is neither spicy nor overwhelming and literally leaves no bad taste in the mouth. It scores high for consistency and construction but loses some points due to the lack of complexity expected from a big cigar. Still, another winner from RA! - Submitted by Duncan on April 16, 2005

Review #10: Great cigar with a great burn. 2,5 hours of pure delight. The smoke is smooth and creamy. The taste reminds me of wood and leather. Ramon Rules!! - Submitted by Actionhost on March 30, 2005

Review #9: A very nice cigar. Very approachable. Nothing missing and nothing wrong. Just a bit indistinctive. - Submitted by peanutaxis on March 28, 2005

Review #8: I love the double corona, and this one is the best. Smooth, creamy with a good bit of the Cuban 'tanginess' that sets the best cigars apart. - Submitted by Joe on February 14, 2005

Review #7: I stood surrounded by 4 walls of cigars boxes as the manager of the La Corona factory store in Havana handed me a box when, during a brief, rare opportunity to meet him, I asked his preference for a big cigar. Lots of smoke, smooth and easy to flavour. Take an hour or more. My preference is for something stronger though. - Submitted by Barry in Calgary on January 4, 2005
