Review #8: I love the double corona, and this one is the best. Smooth, creamy with a good bit of the Cuban 'tanginess' that sets the best cigars apart. - Submitted by Joe on February 14, 2005

Review #7: I stood surrounded by 4 walls of cigars boxes as the manager of the La Corona factory store in Havana handed me a box when, during a brief, rare opportunity to meet him, I asked his preference for a big cigar. Lots of smoke, smooth and easy to flavour. Take an hour or more. My preference is for something stronger though. - Submitted by Barry in Calgary on January 4, 2005

Review #6: I have become more and more enamored of this cigar as I continue to enjoy its very unique flavor. I've noticed a big difference in how it smokes if I don't draw it too quickly or often, and it therefore doesn't get too hot. I think that this cigar is very underrated and while I know that taste is very subjective, I rate it on a par with the Cohiba LE Double Corona, and the Montecristo and Romeo & Julietta Double Corona LEs as well. I am surprised to see that some have had problems with its draw, because I've had none, and as I said earlier, it's a smoke to be enjoyed slowly. - Submitted by Michael in Boston on November 25, 2004

Review #5: This is an incredible cigar! There are fruity and woody flavors which just keep you wanting more and more! And fortunately, due to its size--you get more and more! It's not a harsh or overly strong cigar--even in its youth (ABR04), just plain fantastic. - Submitted by Shooter on October 28, 2004

Review #4: This cigar has a light, natural sweetness which is evident right down to the band. It is smooth, aromatic and just about a full hour of pure pleasure. I have never experienced any cigar which was as outstanding as this. - Submitted by JLC on February 4, 2004
