Review #65:  I was very disappointed with my first of this highly acclaimed Partagas. The taset was great throughout the first two thirds!. But it started with a disaster - the wrapper was in bad shape and caused trouble from the very beginning, it burned unevenly and the ash pilalr was ugly and weak. So, despite the great taste, construction problems disappointed me. I usually love the Partagas of all vitolas, but I'll probably stick to the coronas, robustos and petite coranas in the future. - Submitted by Plu on March 31, 2007

Review #62: After smoking some lackluster "other" torps I dug one of these out. Code SVF MAR05. I smoked one 2 year's ago when they were super-fresh and it was delightful then. Review #61: Another big smoke from the oldest factory on the island! Unlit, i was stunned by the lovely, firm feel and the huge aroma of leather and wood. Lit, she was strong, peppery and had the classic Party "sting" - in fact, too much for me. My palate runs towards the more medium flavour profiles and this was just a step past what I consider to be my limit on strength and spice; this is not a criticism, just an observation from a smoker who knew when he had been beaten.
