Subtle earthy and peppery flavours with a well balanced medium tobacco taste. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is at least 2 years. Strength 2/5.

Review #5:  An interesting cigar very earthy flavour. Best way to describe what 'earthy' means is say you normally eat chicken or beef. Then suddenly you eat a gamey meat like bear, buffalo or deer. That's what this cigar taste like a good shock to the system. Not too gamey but subtle hints of a gamey taste. A mild cigar not for ones that like their tobacco strong. Recommended for beginners. Excellent draw very smooth and not tight or packed in. My only criticism is that for the money its lacking in size. Only lasts 30 minutes. For the same money you can get a very similar tasting cigar like a Punch Coronation or RYJ No 3 or No 2 and get a 1hr to 1.5hr smoke per stick. Review #4: For the note, and if it matters at all, these are hand finished, not %100 machine made. These are actually very hard to find outside of Cuba and Spain. When you find them they cost more than 4€ per stick, for which you can get a Monte Cristo No: 5, or the Romeo Jullietta No: 3. For the value and complexity these have to offer, I would prefer smoking these when I can find them under or around 3€ a stick. They offer a good draw and a mild to heavy taste consisting primarily of leathery and earthy aromas, with a touch of cocoa. I basically love them after lunch or a quick dinner when I do not drink and do not want to get stuck after dinner for another hour. The tubos they come in are very handy if you do not want to carry a leather or steel case. Even if you have a walk in humidor or a cabinet, I would remove them from the tubos so as to avoid oxidation and the mix of metalic tastes. If you liked these and would like a milder but longer puff for about 45mins and do not want to pay more than 3€, I would recommend the Coronas Senior as well. They are much easier to find and after sitting in the humidor for a few months, they might be able to compete with a fresh Romeo Julietta No: 2. - Submitted by caglargonculer on July 29, 2007
Review #3: I was really impreses with this small power house of a cigar. Bought two boxes for every day use and was really happy with the 2006 production which still joung provided complex taste profile and cuantiful smoke all thorugh out.
