Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Depute Review:
This cigar has a quick burning, so it has to be smoked slowly in order to fully appreciate its characteristics. Recurrent woody and creamy Le Hoyo series taste with a minimum ageing recommended of at least five years like in the case of Le Hoyo des Dieux.

Review #18: I had a comparison last weekend of Diplomaticos no.5, Montechristo no.5 and Hoyo - du depute... I have found Hoyo most easy to burn and draw with excellent taste, of course more light from the others and very pleasant as I have combine it with a great coffee. Recomended - Submitted by seirios69b on November 6, 2007
Review #17: My favorite of the Le Hoyo series. Along with the Partagas Shorts and RASCC, these are the only TPC's one needs in the humidor. Unlike most Hoyo's, these pack a little more of a punch, with wood/spice/cocoa flavors. Get a cab today, you won't regret it. - Submitted by fabio on October 28, 2007
Review #16: After aging them for a year I found them excellent with a cup of coffee. Medium body with cedar and honey prevailing. Last third tends to be a bit harsh. - Submitted by nicolo on October 10, 2007
Review #15: Smoking my way through a box, code PUC FEB01. I love the Le Hoyos (see my recent review of des Dieux) but this cigar has been disappointing. Draw is too tight, and very little of the sweet spiciness that I hope for from a Hoyo. Maybe it is just this box. - Submitted by Professor Twain on February 8, 2007
Review #14: The best way to describe this cigar is "just right". It's not a great cigar, it's not a bad cigar. It's just the right length, hits all the proper flavours, and ends right at the perfect time. Whereas I feel many cigars are merely chopped down versions of their brothers, I got a sense that this cigar was a creation unto itself, never trying to imitate. Lots of wood, and some pleasant spice made this into a perfect cigar for 30 minutes. I would have preferred an easier draw. - Submitted by agraupe on February 6, 2007
