Review #8: Why were these discontinued? The cabinet version is one of my all time favorites. Rich earthy flavors abound. I've had them from 99 & 02 and can't think of a better Partagas. delicious! - Submitted by Bassman on December 16, 2006

Review #7: Two reviews in the past year and both by me! I just had to write it again--THIS IS ONE HELL OF A CIGAR! The taste just lingers beautifully as I write this. Now with nearly five years of age, this cab has come alive. Creamy smoke and medium-bodied. Those wonderful "Partagas flavors" abound. I love the size and I definitely love the Partagas Lonsdale from a cabinet. - Submitted by Shooter on January 31, 2006

Review #6: This is the first cigar that comes to mind when I think of the real benefits of age on a cigar. I purchased this cabinet of 50 back in '02 and at the time, the cigars (SEP 01) were barely "smokeable." They were just disappointing. Too "young tasting." I'd smoke one or two a year and the changes were only barely noticable. Gave a bunch away to get other opinions too. Still, I wasn't going to give up on them. The construction is gorgeous and the wrappers have a beautiful reddish tone to them. The other night I lit another one. Now, with over 3 years of age they are coming into their own! What a superb smoke!! PARTAGAS flavors to die for!! Just superb!! - Submitted by Shooter on February 21, 2005

Review #5: I smoked one from 99 last night and what a fabulous habano. This is MIN Ron Nee's favorite smoke and I see why. - Submitted by Cohiba007 on November 18, 2004

Review #4: I agree with cmott, this cigar had my head spinning as well. A very powerful cigar. Along with the power though I found it ashy and 'hot' tasting. Don't get me wrong this cigar has it's good points, especially the size - I love lonsdales. I would only recommend it if you like other large partagas' - Submitted by peanutaxis on September 24, 2004
