Review #3: Had a stick last night from 2000 batch, after smoking a CoRo followed by a RyJ Cazadores. Was initially doubtful if these would be worth the smoke, but was pleasantly surprised that it was. Draw was a little on firm side as would be expected from a lanceros guage, but less firm than the Cazadores I had. Mild cool smoke, with good quantity of smoke. Burn was cool and even all the way, down to a 1 cm nub. Yes, it was enjoyable indeed. Not anywhere near the CoRo, but overall more enjoyable than the Cazadores. I'd say it was more enjoyable because it was a non-complex, straight forward flavour. Has a nice grassy herb profile reminiscent of Cohibas, but with a pleasant mild floral aroma, and a tad of non-biting spiciness. Easy day time smoke, or when you just want a relaxing non-complex smoke. I believe the 5 year plus age on this stick certainly helped give it a smooth rounded character. Good for beginners IMHO. - Submitted by mel on January 21, 2006

Review #2: Bought the box while on my honeymoon in 2001. I smoked 1 about every 2 months. All of them were the most miserable things I'd ever smoked. UNTIL #24. It was one of the finest cigars I have ever smoked. Everything was perfect. The flavor was very cuban and unique unto itself. Very rich coffee and cream. Only have one left. I'm disappointed it took this long. Not worth the wait. - Submitted by Paleto on April 15, 2004
