Review #73: OCT 07 Well, there are some reviews that is saying "stay away from 07 boxes". I have one and opened two days ago. Yes, there may be a problem with 07 boxes. And probably they need some aging. I will submit another review within three or four months while hoping they will have better draw and better burn. Because mine was more hot than expected from a piramide, had some draw problems at half, uneven burn and not much smoke. The chocolate taste was there until the half. I am curious about what this cigar will gain with aging. - Submitted by cgabay on September 29, 2008

Review #72: APR 00 I bought two boxes of these back in 2001 and opened up the first one last night. Excellent construction of the wrapper, good pre-lit draw and a beautiful oily rich golden brown colour. Bloom was only visible ever so lightly on some of the cigars in the box. Once i lit her up, cocoa and coffee were the first flavors to hit my taste buds. One third down there were also hints of spice, nut, leather and earth evident and just past the halfway point until the end there was berries lingering on the palate. There was no caramel or cedar in there like some of my friends have come across from there Unicos, but there boxes are only 2 to 3 years old which could be the reason. The burn was near perfect from the begining and the draw was just nice. The ash was thick and there was huge amounts of smoke which left a gorgeous aroma in the air. What a great treat it was after a good meal. I believe this cigar is sure to be vintage before its time due to the unsurpassed quality in manufacturing and choice of leaf for its flavors. Ive never had any problems with V.Robaina cigars of any size in the past. An exceptional cigar. Another great CLASSIC from the Great Island and probably one of the best piramide vitolas around. With some age on it that is. - Submitted by thetim on August 23, 2008

Review #70: MAR 02 Never had a prob with too loose of a roll. DO NOT smoke these with less than 5 solid years of age. Unless ya like to taste dirt. At 5+ these just begin to open up. Smooth, creamy, slight herbal spice on an earthy core of medium-sweet espresso. My fave production piramide over the ho-hum Monte#2 and the 'WTF was that?' HU#2. - Submitted by ilgallo on July 23, 2008

Review #69: Smoked 2 from an 04 box and it is pure magic. The cigar has a strange slightly bitter taste on my lips from the wrapper leafs. The construction and draw is super and the taste is sweet, woody, a bit of cream and finish with milk chocolate. This cigar need at least 3 years of aging to get full potential. - Submitted by pak on April 28, 2008
