Review #38: An honorable torpedo for autumn or winter evenings. Perhaps not as charming as his direct competitor, Count Montecristo II. - Submitted by dee_m on August 1, 2005

Review #37: From a 2001 box. Beautiful cigar with perfect draw. Cinnamon and cuban spices, and a touch of cocolate. More powerful than the Famosos. A cigar suitable to a single malt from Islay like Laphroig or Bowmore. - Submitted by a.martinsen on June 6, 2005

Review #36: This is a very good pirámide, with an impecable construction. The flavors are woody and leathery and the aromas are a mixture of vanilla and cocoa. However, it has nothing to do with a good Montecristo número 2. - Submitted by Estrella on May 9, 2005

Review #35: Just finished smoking one of these wonderful cigars, I admit that I wasn\'t impressed as I was two years ago. I was expecting a full bodied smoke full of aroma, but I found a very plain and soft taste cigar although it was aged for a year. Hope next smoke will come to my expectation. - Submitted by Samsum on May 2, 2005

Review #34: Between the Upmann 2 and the VR Unicos, I have to go for the unicos. Definitely the best regular production piramide in the market right now. Rich and smooth, laced with the most complex flavours, encompassing the entire range of coffee, marzipan, honey, nuts, beans... Hemmingway could have wrote an entire poem on this cigar. Only discernable fault is the inconsistency from box to box. If you ever get a good box, you are assured of 25 incredibly fulfilling, satisfying and breathtaking smokes. Superb grade tobacco, chuck that monte2 and go for this!!! - Submitted by castro on April 29, 2005
